Dress Code Formal, LLC (DCF) is the first and only online wedding store bringing you wholesale priced special occasion dresses, evening gowns and bridesmaid dresses direct from the manufacturer. Instead of selling our dresses to stores first, we simply sell to you directly. In this way, we can avoid the markups that boutiques and other middlemen charge.

Cancellations, Returns and Damages

All sales are final. Orders cannot be cancelled after they have been placed. Our gowns are cut to order, so we cannot oblige exchanges or refunds for any reasons. Please refer to the sizing guides and color cards to make sure you have selected the correct size and color and all other specifications before ordering.

Depending on the popularity of certain styles, we sometimes keep a limited stock on certain special occasion dresses and evening gowns. Please refer to individual style information for items available for immediate delivery. Also, please be aware that standardized dye lots can be guaranteed only for orders of the same style dresses placed simultaneously.

Please check merchandise as soon as you come into possession of it. If you have any questions regarding your purchase, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt of the item at sales@dresscodeformal.com

If you are asked to return an item, all original tags, hangers and bags must be included and merchandise is subject to inspection by our quality control department.

If an order is refused on delivery, a $100 refusal fee will be charged to the customer account.

Ordering Online

Orders are accepted at dresscodeformal.com using a secure order form. Any information you submit to us will be handled in the strictest confidence and security. Please make sure you provide us with a current email address. We will send confirmation of your order and status updates to your email address.

You can pay on our website using Visa, American Express, MasterCard, or PayPal. The payment of your order is due in full at the time you place your order. We do not offer any payment or lay-by programs. Dress Code Formal cannot make any changes to your order after it has been submitted.

Shipping date is the date we have estimated that your merchandise will ship from our warehouse. Standard UPS delivery time-frame upon leaving our warehouse is between 3-7 business days depending on your location. Even though it is an estimated ship date, our goal at Dress Code Formal is to ship on or before schedule.

Delivery

Standard delivery is 10-12 weeks to ship from our warehouse to you.

Rush delivery takes 6-7 weeks to ship and is available at an additional charge. Please refer to style information for exact charges.

Please note that rarely there are events beyond our control that can delay shipments. Dress Code Formal should not be held responsible for performance, or interruption of performance, due to causes beyond their reasonable control, such as acts of God, acts of any government, war or other hostility, civil disorder, the elements, and alike.

Shipping

All Dress Code Formal orders for bridesmaid dresses, will be posted to you via UPS. Standard UPS charges will apply. When you place an order, you will be able to calculate shipping charges before completing your order. UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes.

While we do request that a UPS driver receive a signature at the time of delivery, it is at their discretion to leave a package without a signature if they feel that an address is secure. Please make arrangements to be home during the day to accept the delivery or use your work address (or a friend's address) if nobody is available at your residence.

Please note: Custom and Import charges are not included in our shipping charges for shipments traveling to countries outside of the United States. We operate under the Federal Laws of the United States of America and the state laws of the State of New Jersey.

Additional Charges

NO SALES TAX

We cut all of our dresses to order. When you receive an evening gown or bridesmaid dress, it will arrive as close to your specifications as possible. However, certain customizations may incur additional charges.

Sizes 20-28 may incur an additional charge. Extra Length of 5" is available on special-orders of special occasion dresses, some evening gowns, bridesmaid dresses and prom dresses.

For all Bridesmaid Dresses, Rush Delivery is available for an additional charge. Please see delivery information above for more information.

Sizing

Please refer to our size chart and sizing guide (How-to-measure).

Because we manufacture our own designs, we use a standard size chart. However, please note that due to the handwork involved, all measurements are subject to be +/- 1".

Please make sure that you read all of our sizing information. Even though we cut to order, we cannot cut to custom measurements.

Please remember to review all of your order details as we cannot make any modifications once an order has been placed. Dress Code Formal will not be responsible for adding extra length, for the size you order, or for any other specifications you may make to your order.

Colors

Due to variations in computer monitors, the colors displayed on your screen when viewing our website may differ slightly. If you are able, please visit our accessory section to order a swatch of fabric.

Each roll of fabric differs slightly in shade from the next, so we can only guarantee that dresses of the same style ordered at the same time will be cut from the same roll of fabric.

Dress Code Formal cannot be responsible for the color ordered. Please make sure you select the correct color or colors.

Special Offers

Dress Code Formal occasionally features special offers to its online customers. All special offers are governed by the policies in our terms and conditions, and any specific restrictions posted on the offers themselves. No offers can be applied to orders after they have been placed and no offers can be combined with other offers. Dress Code Formal reserves the right to cancel any offers at any time.
